Fictional Backstory: When the old world came crashing to a halt and turned most everyone into bones we survived.
When the voices of the wind spoke to the Colonel and told him to evac north he took the army up the valley and past the great dinosaur of the I-10. We are the ones that were left. It is the Colonels promise to return with reinforcements that gives us strength.
Now we stand the watch, protecting the land of the Cochise. It was the Colonel that told us to wait here and guard the fort, cause he’s gonna need it when he comes back with the thunderbirds. So that is what we’ve done.
I could do the telling of our history for you, but we deployed on this trek to get a signal to the Colonel so I’ll keep this short.
We’ve kept the knowing of the army, and the traditions are still alive, but our people are in a war with the ignorant savages from the south. We need the Colonels soldiers and skyships to watch over us to keep protecting the fort.
We’re outnumbered and need all the support we can muster.
Notes: The Brigade is made up of the descendants of the survivors of Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Most of us live in the high desert of southeastern Arizona both in our tribal fiction and reality.
The tribe concept is a nod to the “Boomers” of Fallout: New Vegas and thus also a nod to the “Waiting ones” of Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
