- What’s your real story?: I worked with Spud at Willow Springs and kept hearing about this “Wasteland” thing. So I Checked out the website to see what it was all about. My son and his friends are all “gamers” and according to them I’m the coolest mom around. Where ever we go, everyone knows we’er there and we have fun to the fullest. We have the tendency to be a bit crazy at times. After checking out the website I told my son to check it out and suggested that we attend. Some years back we named our home the “Shabitat for Insanity” which was derived “Habitat for Humanity” because things were pretty damn crazy at the time.
