- What’s your real story?: We are a group of Friends that grew up together and are huge fans of anything geeky!
- What is your fictional story? (Explain your cohesive look here).: The Rust Devil’s have been patrolling the wastes for years now, hiring themselves out as Bounty Hunters and Bounty Killers to the highest bidder enforcing whatever law their employers have created. They have captured or killed dozens of Wastelanders, Raiders, Settlers, and rival Mercenaries, ever increasing their reputation along the way. They are one of the most feared threats in the waste due to their cunning intelligence, wicked organization, and savage brutality. People who hire them rarely want them staying for long, for if a rival faction decides to hire the Rust Devils, they will just as likely turn on their former employer for their own gain. They do seem to have one soft spot however. They rarely take jobs presented to them by Slave Traders, and will occasionally discount their services if it involves the capture or murder of a Slaver. Whereas the Rust Devils do not have an official uniform, or set ‘colors’ they more often than not have a rust-red or brown coloration to their gear, with the occasional highlight of olive drab. This is mostly due to the rusty condition much of their equipment is in. It is rumored that their headquarters is located along the cliffs of the California coast. The salt air near the ocean rusts everything, and this would explain the state of their equipment. Some say that the Rust Devil’s headquarters is an old Police Station in some abandoned town out in the wastes. It is said that they have jury rigged the old fingerprinting machine in the Police Station, and that is why they always collect the trigger finger of the people that they have been hired to kill. They bring the finger back as proof of their victory, and process their reward accordingly. Only the most brutal and cunning of recruits are accepted into the ranks of the Rust Devils, many hopefuls are slain during their initiation which is rumored to involve a jail cell, (3) Baseball bats, (1) empty 9mm Pistol, (1) .44 Bullet, (14) Spark Plugs, and a Spatula. Members of the Rust Devils must be Smart, Tough, and Brutal to survive.
